A not-for-profit collective of local farmers and food artisans offering a safe pickup "Curbside Market" for Chapel Hill and Carrboro consumers during the Covid-19 pandemic.
We believe now more than ever we must rely on our connections with one another. In the face of the current health crisis, farmers and food artisans question how they will support themselves as public venues shut down; meanwhile consumers wonder how they will safely get food for themselves and their families.
The OC Food Collective is a volunteer-run initiative to connect these poles of our community in a safe, convenient way. We are a curbside market offering a variety of products from our collective of local food producers. We also serve as a pick-up location for affiliate farms, restaurants, and CSAs. In response to restricted public health protocols, the OCFC offers a safer way for consumers to continue eating local foods and supporting our local food shed.
We operate Saturday Noon-4pm at Boro Beverage,
400 W. Rosemary St. Chapel Hill, NC 27516.
